Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all services and products offered by Spence K9 (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including dog training services, consultations, and physical products sold through our website.

By purchasing services or products, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.


1. Training Services – No Refund Policy

All dog training services, including private lessons, group training, behavior modification programs, and specialty training, are non-refundable.

Once a training program has been purchased, scheduled, or initiated, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind
  • Scheduling conflicts
  • Perceived lack of results
  • Failure to follow training instructions
  • Early termination of services by the client

Dog training results are not guaranteed and depend heavily on factors outside of our control, including the dog’s temperament, history, environment, and owner consistency.

By purchasing training services, you acknowledge that you are paying for professional time, expertise, and structured instruction—not a guaranteed behavioral outcome.


2. Training Deposits

All deposits made to reserve training spots are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Deposits secure time, planning, and availability within our schedule and are applied toward your total service cost.


3. Board & Train / Specialty Programs (If Applicable)

All intensive training programs, including board and train or extended programs, are non-refundable once the dog has been dropped off or the program has begun.

Early pickup or withdrawal from a program does not qualify for a refund or partial refund.


4. Products (E-Collars & Accessories)

All physical products sold through Spence K9, including e-collars, receivers, accessories, and training tools, are generally final sale.

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Incorrect use of products
  • Failure to read instructions
  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Training expectations not being met through product use alone

If a product arrives damaged or defective, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery to request assistance. We may require photos or return of the item before offering a replacement or resolution.


5. Exchanges & Warranty Claims

Eligible defective products may be replaced or exchanged at our discretion in accordance with manufacturer warranty guidelines (when applicable).

Spence K9 does not directly manufacture products and may refer warranty claims to the original manufacturer when necessary.


6. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve an issue is considered a violation of this policy.

We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback with supporting documentation, including:

  • Signed agreements or waivers
  • Service records
  • Communication history
  • Order fulfillment proof

7. Service Satisfaction

We are committed to providing high-quality training and customer service. However, dissatisfaction due to expectations not aligning with outcomes does not qualify for a refund.

We encourage clients to communicate concerns during the training process so adjustments can be made when appropriate.


8. Exceptions

Refunds are not issued unless required by law. Any exceptions made are at the sole discretion of Spence K9 and do not establish a precedent for future cases.
