By accessing this website, purchasing products, or booking training services with Spence K9 (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use our services or website.
1. Training Services Disclaimer
All dog training services are based on professional experience, established training principles, and individualized assessment of each dog.
We do not guarantee specific behavioral outcomes, timelines, or results. Each dog responds differently based on temperament, history, environment, and owner consistency.
Dog training involves working with animals that may behave unpredictably. By participating in services, you acknowledge and accept all inherent risks, including but not limited to injury to people or animals, property damage, or behavioral escalation before improvement.
Spence K9 is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from participation in training services.
2. Owner Responsibility
Clients remain fully responsible for their dog at all times unless the dog is physically in our direct care during a scheduled training session or program.
You agree to maintain control of your dog outside of sessions, follow all training instructions provided, apply consistent handling techniques at home, and disclose all known behavioral issues prior to training.
Failure to follow instructions or provide accurate behavioral history may affect training outcomes and does not constitute grounds for refund.
3. Payments, Deposits & Refund Policy
All payments for services and products are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
Deposits are required to secure training spots and are non-refundable. Payments are applied toward reserved time, planning, and services.
No refunds will be issued for partial completion of services or dissatisfaction due to lack of owner follow-through.
Spence K9 reserves the right to terminate services at its discretion. If services are terminated due to client behavior, safety concerns, or policy violations, no refund will be issued.
4. Scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling
All sessions must be scheduled in advance.
We require at least 24–48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in loss of session, rescheduling fees, or reduced scheduling priority.
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in termination of services.
5. Health, Vaccination & Safety Requirements
Dogs must be current on vaccinations, including rabies, free from contagious illness or parasites, and physically capable of participating in training activities.
We reserve the right to refuse service if a dog is deemed unsafe or medically unfit for training.
6. Behavior Disclosure Requirement
Clients must fully disclose all behavioral issues prior to training, including aggression toward humans or animals, bite history, or severe reactivity.
Failure to disclose known issues may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
7. Training Tools & Equipment (Including E-Collars)
Spence K9 may recommend or sell training tools such as e-collars as part of a structured training program.
All tools must be used strictly as instructed. Improper use outside of guidance may result in ineffective training outcomes or unintended behavioral effects.
We are not responsible for issues arising from misuse, improper timing, or deviation from provided instruction.
8. Products & Ecommerce Sales
All physical product sales are final unless otherwise stated.
We do not guarantee training outcomes from product use alone. Results depend on proper handling, timing, and training structure.
Spence K9 is not responsible for misuse of products or failure to follow instructions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spence K9, its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, damage to persons or animals, property damage, financial loss, or behavioral outcomes before, during, or after training.
Your participation in services and use of products is at your own risk.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spence K9 from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your dog’s behavior, your use of training methods or tools, or your failure to follow provided instructions.
11. Website Use
You agree not to misuse this website, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation.
All content on this site is owned by Spence K9 and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
